• I used this while snorkeling in Florida, as I didn't trust myself to not drop my goPro. I continued to use it on our trip after using it underwater and I don't recall any issues.

• The suction cup is designed to attach to clean, dry surfaces (glass, etc.) and won't work reliably underwater. To capture underwater action, check out the JOBY TelePod Sport.
