It should hold your Samsung Note 10 Plus just fine. I use a OnePlus 7 Pro with a 6.5" screen and it fits just fine with about 1/4" to spare. The adapter itself doesn't move into different positions but the adapter attached to the tripod ball head can be adjusted to a vertical and horizontal position.
