Yes, Nintendo has yet to take any action to address that issue in any of their Joy-Cons. They will likely work fine out of the box, but will develop stick drift issues over time. I would recommend the official Nintendo Pro Controller or 8Bitdo Pro Controller if you don't specifically need Joy-Cons and want to avoid stick drift issues
