Can this be able to charge the new MacBook Air? null

It can only be plugged into the 65W base or higher though. But it should work nonetheless. I have one and it worked for my Pro.

No. This is not a Thunderbolt/USB-C cable. I don't even think it's USB 3.0 since my phone charges so slow.
