I have a g5 phone and have tried other chargers that said it works but ended up returning. Will this charger work for the g5?? null

According to the manufacturer “ features an integrated USB type C interface that allows you to connect the G5 for mass-storage purposes.”
So in short, the answer should be yes. If your phone has a USB Type C then it will work. 

It may not be the cable your having an issue with but instead the wall adapter ! If you’re using one, try using a different one. Or if using just usb, try using a different usb power source. 

It could be that what you’re trying to power the phone with isn’t allowing the phone to draw enough power to properly charge in previous attempts.

Don't know because I don't have a 5g phone, but you could talk with someone from Best Buy. I'm sure if you bought it and it didn't work, you could take it back.

As long as the receptacle on your phone is a USB C it should. However, please make sure that it's not a Mini USB or Micro. This can look very similar.
