“I may be buying this for my daughter's 2010 Yaris. I know the until will fit fine and I intend to buy the wiring adapter kit. My question is...do I need an antenna adapter or will the stock antenna cable from the car plug directly into the unit?”

Call and ask the Geek Squad technician at Best Buy. That's who installed mine.
