• it will work on virtually any car that can be adapted by the necessary harnesses you may have to order (extra $). I was , however, able to purchase a backup camera on ebay from a man in china who sold an aftermarket part made specifically for my 2012 outback (2007-2014) that can be placed next to and above my license plate that has a light for the plate with the camera in it. this cost me $30.00 and I had to attach and run the wire myself, but didn't have to drill or pay someone else to do it (saved $300.00). take my advice - scour the web for the best deal.

• Not with this model. To adapt a factory camera, the unit would need an input for iDataLink Maestro.
