“Can this unit use the existing backup camera and steering wheel controls that are in the car? The website says it's compatible, but I just want to make sure before purchasing it. The car is a 2017 Toyota 86 (key start). Thanks.”

The radio is capable of accepting steering wheel controls and camera inputs. The aftermarket harness for your car that you purchase will determine if you will keep your steering wheel controls. The aftermarket harness for your car will also determine if you can or cannot retain your factory camera. Most of the time, you will be required to purchase a separate harness to retain a factory camera.
