Thank you for considering JVC for your car audio needs! Yes, the JVC KW‑V660BT receiver can play DVDs in your car. It’s a DVD multimedia receiver with a front disc slot and supports DVD-Video playback along with DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW discs, so you can watch movies from a DVD you insert directly into the unit. Like most car receivers that play video, the screen will usually only show DVD video when the vehicle is parked with the parking brake engaged (this is a safety feature). If the parking brake isn’t connected or engaged, video playback may be blocked on the front screen, but output to rear monitors (if installed) may still work depending on wiring. You can also reach out to our team for assistance, to answer any questions. Please contact us at 1-800-252-5722 or email us at [email protected]. Thank you for choosing JVC, we look forward to helping you upgrade your car audio experience! Best regards, The JVC Customer Relations Team
