“Will this unit fit a 2001 Chevy Silverado extended cab 1500?”

• I put it in a 2003 Silverado standard cab. I had to get a kit for the door buzzer (it runs through the stock radio) and i think I also had to get a short radio antenna extension. If Best Buy doesn't have those I think Crutchfield does. Crutchfield's website will tell you what cables you need.
