Yes it will change your cell phone. You also need to purchase a car stereo install kit for your make, model and year of your car. Also you can purchase a wire harness that will hook right up to your stock radio harness as long as you do not have any shorts in the radio system now. I uninstalled my old radio and installed the new one myself. It was not hard to do at all. The place where I purchased the installation kit (Crutchfield) came with the instructions for uninstalling and installing the radios.
