Depends on how you sleep really...if on your back you should be fine. If on your sides i wouldn't recommend it.

No. The earbuds push far into your ear when laying on them and the sides of it will often push up against the outside of your ear.

Not recommended. The speaker bud is big enough to be uncomfortable. If you've got big fluffy pillows or sleep on your back, it should not be an issue.

I wear mine in bed Jewels. I lay on my left side, and they are comfortable for a short period of time ... but usually I have to cup my hand over my ear that I'm laying on to give it a bit more cushion so it doesn't dig into my ear.
