“I have an older 32" Sharp Aquos flat(ish) panel TV that weighs 50lbs. Is the Kanto - Full Motion TV Wall Mount For Most 19"-32" LCD / Plasma Panels up to the job? It will be mounted securely high in a corner and will be extended most of the time.”

I used the mount for a new Vizio 32" (which is lighter); but it seems to be quite sturdy. I believe the unit is rated to 55lbs; so, I think you should be okay.
