Heck yes. You just have to make sure you have enough room in the media center to lift the TV onto the arm that's extended into that space. Woah--wait: you also need to make sure you can locate a stud in the wall behind the media cabinet that's pretty close to the cut-out. You can make the cut-out very large, though, as the TV will cover that opening.
