• Yes. I have my 50" Samsung tv mounted on it and onto a single stud, so you should not have any problems. Just remember to hit the middle of the stud.

• I mounted the wall mount to one stud making sure it was tight and secure then mounted a 42 inch flat screen to it. It is very stable and works as advertised.

• I'm not sure if it works well with the Samsung. However it does hold very steady on a single stud. Make sure you drill pilot holes in the center of the stud. I installed a 60" LG plasma which is about 70 lbs. It holds it well!
