This one is installed vertically. Up and down that is. Just find the one stud and drill top and bottom holes in the stud. I use 1/4 inch by 2-1/2 inch lag bolts for install. Never underestimate the weight of a television. I hope this helps you

For 24" studs, we would recommend our PDX or our PMX line.
