If you mount your tv wall mount using butterfly nuts and bolts ( a minimum of four, two on the extreme ends of the wall mount apparatus you won't have any problems.

We do not provide instructions for installing into metal studs and do not recommend it. Because metal studs are not a structural component and are typically hollow you'd have to determine if your wall is sturdy enough to support the weight of the mount and TV while it is fully extended. We recommend contacting an AV installer if you're planning on going down this route.
