Yes. It can tilt down. I think the range of motion is 15 degrees down and 3 degrees up or something like that. For what it's worth, I love this mount. It was so easy to assemble. Every bolt, spacer, washer, and wrench was labeled and had its own cutout in a cardboard box. The website www.kantoliving.com even has a video tutorial of how to put the mount together. I also highly recommend a full motion mount because after installing the TV, it was so easy to access the cables and run them through the channels on the mount. The mount is also super sturdy. I can't say too many good things about it. If you are buying a tv or a bundle, see if Best Buy can throw the mount in for free. That's what I did, and they were very accommodating. I did buy the OLED55E6P though, so it was a pricey purchase. Try it anyway. The worst they can say is no. Well that's more than you asked, LOL. Best of luck in your mount search.
