“Can this be mounted above a window to allow the TV to be pulled down in from the window when in use and pushed back tot he ceiling when not being used?”

The PDX650 is not a ceiling mount, nor does it have the capacity to go through windows. We also advise our mounts get installed into wood studs or concrete walls.
