Use this one but place a piece of plywood or poplar or if you want to go fancy teak wood, a large square that spans to your 2x4’s that are set 24 in from the center stud. Your making in essence a rectangle solid frame backer wood plate that will be used to anchor this TV mount or any mount you choose. I don’t think any mounts out there are designed to span 24 on center. Usually 16 on center. Good luck…. hope your handy.
