“My tv is in a boxed in area. When fully extended, will it still be centered and viewed straight on? I want to pull it out close to the opening. The newer large screen TVs are taller now and my space is 31” high so I am afraid they won’t fit on the stand.”

I recently purchased 3 of these for different rooms in our home. Yes, when fully extended it can be centered and viewed straight on OR fully extended and viewed at either a right or left angle. It is very durable and flexible. I'm pleased with the purchase.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, when you pull out the tv you will have full range of motion in all directions. Tilt up and down, turn left to right, pan left to right or straight in and out. The only motion that you don't have is up and down.
