• The flower design is not on the surface, but the sparkles are, so I’m not sure if it would damage those over time, but even if some of those came off, the case would still be pretty.

• Not sure, I use a UV light to disinfect it and then wipe it down with my glass cleaner. The UV light is made to disinfect phones.
