Why are they so expensive, will these work with my vcr? null

They will work with your VCR. They are so expensive because the owner of the speaker manufacturing company is hoping someone will be stupid enough to buy these so then they can retire on a private island.

Unfortunately you can only afford them if you work high up in Government. I read somewhere they blend seamlessly with a $25,000 freezer stocked with $17,000 worth of ice cream. No sorry you VCR has the wrong outputs for these...... But I can build you an adapter for $325,000.00+ Tax. I have to charge tax because someone has to pay to restock “her” freezer with ice cream.
