I bought this receiver a couple months ago, it is worth it, it has a lot of features, I have not connected the camera yet but I can tell you the rear camera is activated automatically when the car, the brakes and reverse are on, the Cam button might be to have access manually for the 2 cameras. It is discontinued because it has been in the market for 2 years, and they have 2020 receivers, some of them with same quality the others better quality but way too expensive.
