QuestionHow do I connect my smartphone to the kenwood receiver, the manual shows plugging a micro usb cable into phone and a male usb into the female usb cable connected to receiver, I did that and pressed to usb button on receiver and get message not connected.

- Answer On the DNX574S there is only one video out connection. If you need to go to 2 screens, you would have to use some sort of splitter, and both screesn with show the same thing. There's no way to show different content on each screen.

QuestionI have amplifiers running to all 3 pre amps. Front rear and subs. I noticed the rear no longer works. I've checked the cords. Its definitely the input on the back. I checked all my settings just in case but no luck. Any ideas? I only have factory warranty

QuestionDoes this unit have a "reverse" wire? By that I mean Does it recognize when the vehicle is placed in reverse and then automatically engage the backup camera and show on screen? Thank you.

- Answer Yes, the DNX574S does have a reverse sensing wire. Connect it to the back-up lamp (12V), and the display will automatically switch the backup camera.

QuestionI installed a KENWOOD DNX574S into a 04 Chevy. I was working for about four days and then it frozen in the start up window and it hasn’t reset or initialized yet. How do I get past this?

- Answer There is no physical reset button. The only way to "reset" it would be to pull the power off the unit completely. Since the wiring is tied into continuous 12V, and assuming the radio wiring is not easily accessible, I would disconnect the battery for a few seconds. Hopefully that will reset the radio.

- Answer If you're asking about Android connectivity, the DNX574S supports Android on a Bluetooth connection with both Hands free and AD2P audio. Additionally, if it's connected on the USB wired connection it supports Android Auto.
