Hello Valued Customer, thank you for sharing your question! The DMX5710S has a dedicated camera input for a rear-view camera. By default, it only shows when you shift into reverse gear (triggered by the reverse-signal wire). However, Kenwood added a “Camera” shortcut button in the on-screen menu. You can tap the “Camera” icon from the receiver’s screen to view the rear camera feed anytime, not just when backing up. This works while driving forward (for towing, checking cargo, or just seeing what’s behind you). The view will stay on-screen until you exit it or switch sources. The shortcut is not always pinned on the home screen, but it’s available in the main menu/shortcut bar.
