• This is an older post and you probably found an answer but...To get my Android 9 phone to work with I had to go into developer options and change the WebView app to Chrome instead of the default android app. Len207

• I plugged my brand new Gs9 in to this head unit and it works flawlessly. I can't even tell you if I upgraded the radios firmware or not. Maybe your unit is defective?
