In a round-a-bout way it does. You can pair this unit with your smartphone (Apple or Android), then use the Waze app that is preinstalled in the unit to pull up navigation and maps. This requires you to download the Kenwood and Waze apps from the Google play or Apple store onto your smartphone. It works great on mine once you get the apps sync'd up.
