• You can only use one source at a time. So for the black USB port you can run Android Auto or Carplay and on the grey USB port you can connect your USB flash drive or phone and charge it. But only one device would play at a time.

• Yes, you can use both, like gray port for charging or use thumb drive for music or pictures, Black port for data from your phone.
