Look for an installation special. Installation was free as a member of Best Buy's Service package. I have steering wheel controls and the volume works. I am not sure about the channel search. I have a 2011 Ford F150 and the modules burned out. The quote from Ford was $950.00. I got the Kenwood radio and Sirius upgrade for around $500.00.

However i do know that the steering wheel controls on my car worked with this head unit so the head unit does support this function
