Hello Valued Customer, thank you for sharing your question! If your Kenwood KMM-BT332U receiver is displaying "PROTECT" or "SEND SERVICE," it's likely entered protective service mode to prevent damage due to issues like wiring faults, overheating, or internal malfunctions. Here's how you can attempt to resolve this: STEP 1 - Detach the faceplate from the receiver. Locate the reset button: It's a small hole on the front panel of the unit. Press and hold the reset button: Use a pointed object (like a paperclip) to press and hold the button for a few seconds. Release the button and reattach the faceplate. STEP 2 - Allow the unit to cool down, as overheating can cause this issue. STEP 3 reach out to 800-536-9663 or email us at [email protected], as it could be a wiring issue (speaker impedance mismatch or wiring/installation issue. Thank you for choosing KENWOOD!
