The Kenwood KMM-BT332U and the Kenwood KDC-X301 are both single-DIN head units, so they share the same standard faceplate size—but they differ in chassis depth and internal features. The difference is chassis depth. The KMM-BT332U is a mech-less unit (no CD drive), making it much shallower and easier to install in tight dashes. The KDC-X301 includes a CD player, so it is deeper and may be harder to fit in some vehicles with limited space behind the dash. Overall the KMM-BT332U is about 2.25" shallower than the KDC-X301.
