“Two questions. I have it hard wired and it turns on when I get in, on occasion it wants to be formatted or won’t work. Anyone have any suggestions? Second question. It is recording video protected even though I set it for unprotected. This is daily??”

• Yes send it in for repair it would always work the longest is connected

• Have you tried another card to see if another card does the same error? Also the camera has a reset button at the bottom in case it needs a reset. For the files if in an accident that file will go to the protected files. In a normal recording it will keep recording over riding the last video taken.
