how good is this radio water protected null

My radio lasted two months the water intrusion corroded some inside parts, it died, the warranty would not cover it because it had water in it this radio, it s not waterproof at all. I need to buy another radio for my boat now but I’m not going to buy another Kenwood marine radio they are probably good for cars. They sound great but not for outside.
