Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had an interesting experience with one of these Keurig mugs, but only because I was stupid. I have several of this type of mugs, some of which are Contigo branded, while others are Keurig branded, but with a Contigo branded top. I had assumed that the tops all work the same way, with a little tab at the top. I understood that you depress the tab to lock the top to prevent spillage. One day I found that the top of my Keurig mug was not operating the way I expected. I was unable to depress the tab at the top to unlock the mug and I was also unable to get a drink by depressing the button on the side of the mug's top. I called Keurig and complained. They said their policy was not to replace a mug if I had it for more than six months. So, I figured I was out of luck. Later, I was able to get a good deal on a similar Keurig mug and ordered it. When it arrived, I discovered that it did work differently than the Contigo branded mugs. Instead of depressing the tab at the top, one slides the drink button on the side of the top piece down a quarter inch to lock the container. Or, you slide it up to unlock it. I got out the old supposedly defective container and found that it worked the same as my new Keurig mug. My old mug was not defective at all, I just didn't operate it properly. The upshot as far as you are concerned is that Keurig will replace the mugs for whatever reason within 6 months of purchase.
