• Yes, just make sure a pod isn’t in the machine and press the amount and start button. I switch between coffee and tea every day.

• Yes this can be used to heat up water. Just set it up without the k-cup and select how much water you’d like. I’ve used it to make green tea many times

• Yes, yes it can just open then close the lid without a kcup choose the oz you want and bam hot water.
