- Answer Thanks for your question, Casper. The K-Cafe coffee maker does not use pressure to brew the K-Cup pods, which is required to brew true espresso. It brews the K-Cup pods the way any other Keurig brewer brews them, but there is an option to brew a 2oz, concentrated shot with the K-Cafe that resembles the flavor and roast of a classic espresso beverages. - Answer Hi Irma! Your frother lights will flash when the frother detects either there is no liquid in the cup, or the whisk is not in place. Check that both of these are done. If this doesn’t work, please call our Customer Service at 1-866-901-BREW (2739).

- Answer Thanks for your question. The K-Café coffee maker has a preset brew temperature to optimize taste. The temperature of a 6, 8, 10, or 12oz dispensed beverage can range from 170-190 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature of a Cappuccino or Latte can range from 150-165 degrees Fahrenheit. This should remain consistent regardless of how many cups are brewed consecutively. We hope this helps!

- Answer One K-cup is use in the machine, the strength of the coffee is determined by the brewing size. You can use ground coffee with the reusable filter cup, which is not included with my machine and can be purchased separately.

- Answer Hi! I bought the adaptor (at my local Best Buy) that allows me to use loose leaf tea or ground coffee. It works just fine for me. I have also put standard tea bags in my cup and then just let the machine pour hot water in there. And yup. It works just fine too. Hope this helps!

QuestionWhat is the process for making a latte? Is there a separate reservoir for cream or milk and if so, can powdered creamer be used since it won't spoil?

- Answer The milk frother (shown in the photo on this site) is a separate device. It is a one serving at a time sort of think. Fill it, pour it, clean it, repeat. So no worry about spoiling or powdered anything. It actually works really well. I was really surprised.

- Answer Thanks for your question! A recipe book is not included with the K-Cafe coffee maker. The Keurig K-Cafe only brews hot coffee, however you can brew any of our beverages over ice. Additionally, if the COLD button on the frother base is selected, the milk will only be frothed but not heated – perfect for making iced lattes and iced cappuccinos.
