“Whenever I try using a disposable k cup pod in my machine it won't brew. It'll start to, but turn off after 10 seconds. The reusable pod works without issue though. How do I use the disposable ones?”

It could use a cleaning. You can actually separate the part that takes the K cup. Extract it and check if it’s clogged. Happened to me and realized that the k cup well can be removed and cleaned.

If your machine does allow the use of both kinds of k-cups then it’s best to contact the manufacturer help number or try a thorough deep cleaning and see if the disposable cups work then.
