“Hello! I'm replacing a K40 that has served us well but leaks from the bottom when not in use. If the K50 is essentially the same will that happen eventually? Anyone who has owned over a year have any input? It's not overfilled by the way.”

I ‘be had every model - currently have this one and the most updated... haven’t had a leak problem in any of my units... I’ve had to replace for other reasons- grinds mix with brewing. Water tank crack. Scaling would not complete and just plain old. You might have had a crack somewhere in the unit that caused the leak - my opinion you can’t go wrong with this unit- besides being pretty -the reason I purchased- it brews perfectly
