“I received one of these coffee makers today and was shocked at how short the cord is. It is like less than 9 inches from the base to the tip of the plug. Is that how it was supposed to be or did I get a dud?”

• You really have to wiggle and pull the cord out of the storage in the back of the unit. Give it a good tug!
