Thanks for your question. We recommend using bottled or filtered spring water in your Keurig coffee maker. Coffee and tea are over 98% water so quality water is necessary for a good coffee, tea or iced beverage. We do not recommend distilled water in your Keurig coffee maker as it can change the taste profile of your coffee by making it bitter, and may cause brewing results to vary.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use tap water, but the water in the Portland, Oregon area is excellent. The city water here needs no treatment and has even been bottled for sale elsewhere. What water would be best in other areas will vary considerably. Where my brother lives in northern Wisconsin I wouldn't use tap water for anything other than watering the lawn. It tastes like there is motor oil in it.
