Yes, my wife regularly uses the plastic flip-top holder with her own mix.

Hi Len. The Keurig My K-Cup Universal Reusable Coffee Filter is compatible with all Keurig Home Coffee Makers, including the K-Slim coffee maker. Please note, you may need to remove the 2.0 adapter on the bottom of the accessory and the K-Cup Holder in your brewer in order for it to fit properly.
