• This is exactly the same fob you get from SimpliSafe, just cheaper. We haven't tried it past the end of our driveway. That's approx 45-50 feet from the base station (through walls and vehicles) and it works flawlessly. Direct, unobstructed may be further. If not pulling in or out, we rely on the app to make sure we set the alarm (for those rushed times when not sure).

• The Key Fob works very similar to your other components, though with a shorter range since it's such a small device. For best performance, we recommend using the unit within 400ft of the Base Station.
