You would definitely want to make sure the piece that you are connecting the fuse to is gonna be able to have a hire fuse but yes as long as the fuse isn't to big for equipment you have

That is the most common reason that a fuse will blow is a bad ground because when it gets a good ground back it experiences a power surge.

Using a stronger fuse could potentially cause unwanted damage to your things in the end causeing more money then just buying 100 amp fuses. I hope this helps!
