I have one of these installed in a sealed box, powered by a 300w amp, under the rear seat of my double cab 2017 F-150 and it shakes all the mirrors and you can definitely feel it. Two of them with a beefier amp or the 12s should definitely do the trick. My recommendation is consult the auto install technicians and see what they recommend. In my experiences, they have been good about telling you what you need to get the sound or thump that you want without trying to sell you more than you need. Each vehicle is different and has different needs based on the space you put the speakers in, and they see a much greater variety than most individuals that do not install on a regular basis.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 2 of these 10” Kicker CompC’s in a down firing sealed box in my 2011 Chevy Silverado crew cab 2500HD. The amp I use is a Kicker 400.1. It has almost too much bass. My wife and my neighbors hate it lol. It depends on what you are putting them in to say if it will rattle the windows. It has high potential to rattle windows.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The outcome of rattling is strictly dependent upon the integrity of the box you put it in. So, assuming the box is well structured, there may be no rattling. However, the sub itself does produce a great deal of oomph, so there's potential for it to rattle indeed. Perhaps your best bet is to purchase a quality box, with a window if you'd prefer, and simply return the sub for a less powerful one, OR, purchase a box without a window. This would eliminate the possibility for it to rattle. Thanks, Bradley
