I replaced the factory sub in my 2008 DTS with this and it works fine with the factory amp. The screw holes do not line up so you will need to drill some new ones in the rear deck, otherwise it is a drop in installation. Taking the back seat out, both sail trim panels and then the rear deck was the hard part lol. I would advise buying a set of speaker wire harnesses so you do not have to cut the existing wires/they will clip on and extend the wiring to this speakers terminals and cost about $5.
