- Answer The Kicker website recommends the Kicker CXA 600.1. I bought the 800.1 and its a bit much for my sub. I would stick with the 400.1 or 600.1.

- Answer You do have to buy an amp, would recommend contacting the geek squad as they are very helpful in recommending more specifics . I bought an amp from sales in Best Buy , only to find out it was ok but they recommended a stronger amp to maximize the function of the speaker.
