They will hit hard. I previously ran them @ 682 watts RMS. Might not hit as deep as 1,000 watts, but not worth the upgrade in my opinion. Amplifier bass boost can help bridge the "gap" in sound.

That audio control is a quality amp, the subs could take more but I think you'll happy. If not you can always get a bigger one. Or if it's .5 ohm stable you can open it up and wire it to .5 and really get them moving. Most amps are not 1 ohm stable much less .5 .
