I dont know all i know is im not impressed with the one i got and have a 800 watt 1600 watt max kicker amp very disappointed

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should work, but because this box has been engineered for this specific design it may have other limitations that may not be preferred. I wouldn't see why you couldn't as long as it's the one without the amplifier included in the box, and you have a powerful enough amp to drive two active subs. The downside is that you won't have as much "rolling bass" (due to the passive sub being out of phase naturally by 90 degrees this is more on the physics side and electrical side of explaining it but is a fascinating topic when it comes to audio) Now the trade off to less rolling base is that you'll get (in this situation) in theory louder bass but the size of the box being what it is you might wanna test it out with no passive sub before putting in an active sub and please post the results as I am curios about it myself.
