486cxa8001 Kicker 800watt amp is what i have to power it. I was recommended an incorect kicker dsp amp by Best Buy and it was underpowered blew. So i reached out to crutchfield to get the CORRECT reccomendation.

Please try again later.honestly, I have the CXA400.1 and it powers them really well. that would be the one to buy since it has an RMS power rating of 400 watts my specific unit came with a certificate that states 480 watts RMS so it may vary unit to unit. the other factor is the sub has a good performance range from 250watts RMS to 500Watts RMS cause its only powering one sub and the other is passive. but the product is supper solid.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The guy that saids this was a good amp is way over stating the info. IT IS MAX 400w. 300w at 2 ohm.....the 800 is the proper amp. MODEL CXA400.1 Power (watts/ch) 4 Ohm = 150x1 Power (watts/ch) 2 Ohm = 300x1 Power (watts/ch) 1 Ohm = 400x1
